What advice would you give to your teenage self?

I would tell myself to ignore negative Nancys, mean girls (and boys), bullies and haters. There were also people that could have been a lot nicer and encouraging. I stood up to some of the jerks and ignored others. But part of my believed them and it was a complete waste of my time.

PS. I was mean to other people too. I hope they had enough sense to ignore me. There are too many stories about being bullied yet no one ever seems to remember being a bully or an accomplice. 🤔 I would tell myself that “friends” that are not very nice to others will eventually turn that behavior towards you. I would also tell myself to be more understanding of others.
