Question of the Day 7.23.24

What would you change about modern society?

I think individuals lack humility in modern times.   There is a lot of selfishness and unearned self importance that leads to other problems.  We have a lot of sociopath under currents in modern American society because of the self centeredness.  It’s dangerous.

Aside from the narcissistic threads of modern society that may just be the  human condition modern society is great and we are very blessed.  I look forward to what advancements develop next.

  1. I would hold families accountable for harboring terrorists, racists, and rapists. Too many people give passes for horrible behaviors if you have a non-non-permenant tan, a certain gender and or wealth status. People would get fined and or charged for not being better humans.

    1. I’m not necessarily talking about crime. There is a lot of behavior that isn’t necessarily illegal but it’s anti social. (In my opinion. I’m not a psychologist)

I think individuals need to be held responsible for their own behavior. I think it’s already illegal to assist a criminal. (I’m not a lawyer either.)

      1. I hear you. Yet families start the process of building character and or not holding certain people accountable for their own actions. I would say most people do not become bad characters at 25 or 35. Those traits are very common to develop between the ages of 4-7; and it’s just sometimes cute at that age. It would be shocking to see the behind the scenes of families hiding the truth of their seeds or those they care about; all for the public to suffer through. Then worse yet when things do go bad, they tend to get public sympathy as if they didn’t help create said problem(s).
