Summer Vacation 2024: Golda

I recently watched the 2023 film “Golda”. It’s the story of the former prime minister Golda Meir and the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Golda Meir is played by Helen Mirren. This movie is educational and I learned some things that I didn’t know. This film could be of interest to many due to the current war between Israel and Hamas.

“Golda” focuses on military strategy of the war the Yom Kippur War between Israel and an Arab alliance. If you enjoy documentaries on the Military Channel on cable you will love this film. I’m more interested in the human stories of history. For me this movie is interesting but it’s just OK.
