Everyone is unique so I will use the term stand out. Self assuredness, a pleasant personality and a sense of style make a person stand out.

    I agree that being assured and having their own style “make a person stand out,” but I’ve known a lot of people who feel their pleasant personality leads them to being overlooked and underestimated, and I think a lot of loud-mouthed jerks are desperate for attention.
