I went to see Katy Perry on Saturday night at her Kansas City stop on the Lifetimes Tour. I’ve enjoyed Katy Perry’s music and performances over the years. When I heard Katy was coming to town I checked the ticket prices and there were options within my entertainment budget. I got my pal Megan to come out with me for the evening.

Katy Perry is receiving a lot of criticism and ridicule on social media right now. Katy is being maligned for her trip to space. I agree that space flight was a stupid waste of time but I also don’t care and no one asked my opinion. The Lifetimes Tour is being called a haphazard flop on social media.

I enjoyed the show and the T Mobile center looked like a full house once Katy came on stage. The production value was high and the show was very creative. The performance intertwined a sci fi story line, big screen visuals and audience participation. It was fun and a great way to spend a Saturday night with an old friend.
