What would your life be like without music?

I would enjoy life a lot less without music. I find music I enjoy to be motivational and encouraging. I have childhood memories of watching “America’s Top 10” on TV with Casey Kasem and listening to the Rick Dees “Weekly Top 40” on the radio. There was a solid ten year block in my life when I could have told you the number on song in America.

There are songs take me back to a different time and place. They bring back memories of people and places from my past. Music brings people together and creates community. Music is always there.

I grew up in the 80s with the biggest pop stars and they still have a place in my heart. I’m nearly the same age as Hip Hop music and I remember it coming onto the scene. Nothing stirs my heart like hymns, Gospel and Christian Contemporary music. Music stirs emotions that day to day life does not.
